The study further affirmed the challenges of adopting digital literacy in Government owned university libraries in South-East Nigeria as lack of digital skills among librarians, lack of procurement of digital tools, inability of traditional libraries to migrate to digital one, poor electricity supply and lack of technical knowhow in the environment. The study recommends that a sufficient number of digital resources should be available in the library to incentivize staff members to use them for both personal and user purposes and to improve the work efficiency of library personnel at South-East, Nigeria. Polytechnic libraries focus should be given to providing these facilities with a reliable power source and strong Internet connectivity.
